Share your table.
And your life.

A guest had a hard time finding foods he could safely eat at parties and cookouts, due to his Celiac's Disease.

So at one celebration he came up with an idea, and sketched out a solution.

What if digital invitations sent out to guests had a menu on them, and if they shared their food preferences with the host, an accommodation could be made for them and other guests with the same, similar or other issues?

The name nibblething is a fun little mashup to play with. Getting to work with made-up, fantastical words can allow for a lot of freedom in the creation of a brand.

An original pass at branding was done, credit to Studio SJG, and expanded on here.

The plate motif comes into play later again in the tagline, which in turn helped influence it's use in the overall brand design.

The tagline for nibblething came from the idea that the app would allow for guests to have various options to fill their plate at an event.

But the other main ideation of it all was that, as the user, you can take all those events 'on your plate' and invite people to your own parties, get-togethers and celebrations, accommodating them as well.

So a dual meaning and catch-all came from the phrase...

One of the proposed promotional / launch ideas was to hold a food truck festival and invite all those that signed up, or who already have accounts, in a specific city, as one big nibblething.

Each truck would feature their unique menus, and showcase how their offerings can be accommodating to those with specific food issues.
